We play for the love of the game

In 2008, the idea of the ACFA was developed into reality by 6 owners who wanted something different from the leagues that they were all competing in. They wanted to try to minimize the bad experiences they all had by creating a league where teams had the space to grow and fulfill their visions both on and off of the field.

Meetings took place during the 08’ calendar year. Competitive play began in the Spring of 09’ with teams from New Jersey, Pa., and Maryland. In the Fall of 10’ with careful planning, Fall Ball made The ACFA into a year-round league. The 1st league in the top half of the country geographically of its kind.

Thanks for all supporters and well-wishers as We wish nothing but the best for everyone on this level!

  • The ACFA Family is open to accommodate a group of 3 or 4 teams to form a Divison within The Family from outside of Us. This ensures that 4 to 6 of Your games will help maintain the relationships that have been made and allows those teams to still be within Our set-up as new relationships develop and Your experience is grown.
  • Areas for growth: NYC, New Jersey, Reading & Allentown, Pa., and Virginia.

ACFA Growth

Beyond the Mid-Atlantic, the ACFA is a National leader

Only the ACFA offers the features listed which bring you the greatest opportunity to grow into the powerhouse that you want to be without another team being in your back yard as well as giving you that City to City weekly bragging rights.

We hope that you want the best for yourself, your players, and your team competition—wise on a weekly basis.

  • KOC (Kick—Off Classic) takes place in the center of our set—up operating region in Southern Maryland and alternating North & South locations in our Spring & Fall Seasons. The Primary Cities are Baltimore, MD and Washington, DC.
Each team in the National Alliance will face off against an American Alliance team unless there is an imbalance of teams.
  • ACFA Team Proximity—25 to 35 miles minimum; No other team will be admitted into The ACFA within 25 to 35 miles of another ACFA Team allowing your team to develop fully without another team being too close and  becoming a  distraction to you and your team. There are dynamics that can be amendable depending on geographic area.
  • NFL Formatted Schedule (9 games) for even number years like “24”
KOC Game in Week #1, Division Games Weeks #2 through #4 and Weeks #7 through #9, and In-Conference or Non-Conference Games in Weeks #5 & #6.
  • New Schedule format for “Odd Number Years” like 25’ will debut in the Spring and Fall Groups allowing for teams to play “3” more games outside of their divisions allowing for more chances to see other teams.KOC Game in Week #1, Division Games in Weeks #2, #8, & #9; In-Conference games in Weeks #3, #4, #6, & #7, and a Non-Conference Game in Week #5. This format will be wild, crazy, and fun and a new experience for The ACFA Family!
  • A Choice of 1 Season or Both. The ACFA started year-round play in September of 2010. Your organization has a choice of 1 season or the opportunity to play both like many of the ACFA teams who compete. Spring Season? Fall Season? Both Seasons? You choose what’s best for you.
  •  Each Weekly game is literally bragging rights!!! Us against them because your team is the only team in The ACFA in your city, county, or town. Just You………against………them!

Why join the ACFA

There are many perks to list but we think that the most important perk of all is being the only team that can say that “Your Team represents Your Town” in this league and you will never have to concern yourself with not being that team. The ACFA has always been set—up this way and with a couple of exceptions that won’t be made again. The ACFA has been the only league that set out to be set—up this way.

We hope to admit Your Team Representing Your Town into this Family.

Thanks!
